I edited my post to reflect I was talking about the front glass panel.

I preordered a 15g too and made a stand and canopy and was about to be ticked if the front glass wasn’t 15” wide because everything is painted.

If possible and you can make it almost flat basically it really helps in the long run I think

I've reorganized my rocks like 4 times now. I think I'm happy with it now. I basically ended of with a pile that has a slope

I would not get a cube, and I would not use dry rock. My personal opinion...

Sorry to be vague. Cubes stack fish on top of each other increasing aggression and dry rocks turn into algae farms in my opinion.

Guess it depends on which fishes and their behavior... maybe I might only do one fish (shrug)

I read that it can greatly reduce algae but turning off the lights during cycle period

I'm limited to the size I can get for now because I live in small condo so this is my best option at the moment... also there is no live rocks locally where I live and I ain't buying someone used live rock that have the potential to crash my tank

Let me suggest an opossum wrasse, some sort of small goby, and a cleaner shrimp.

Yeah planning to get cleaner shrimp, yellow goby (probably),

Thinking of going against "everybody have clowns" ...basically do a non-clowns tank ..just havent check out what fish options I have

Wow,I now have so much more respect for people that take such nice pictures of their tanks. My phone does not appreciate the tank light. I'll try to get a good Pic tomorrow when there is more natural light available.

Not really sure. I used a 20lb bag and just added sand until I was happy with the depth. If I were to guess, I'd say a little more than 10lbs

Ahh ok.. was thinking of getting the 15lbs from petsmart for $22 cdn and use it all

I think that would be perfect, just don't dump it all at once in case you don't want it that thick.

Yeah for sure... enough thickness for cuc to get in there

My cousin have a 50g for a couple years now I think and bought the 15g as a softie tank ... he bought the 15lbs sand bag but not sure if he's using the whole thing

What stand is that in first pic? I have a tank ordered and still need a stand. Like the look of yours.
