It only lasted about a week before it died . I have no clue what went wrong . Yours look really good. What happened to yours? I'm a first-time reefer with a Red Sea Reefer XL 425 running for only 3 months, and have had a goniopora for just over a month and it seems to be thriving, along with all my other 20+ corals. I'm just focused on keeping stable water parameters:
Temp: 78F
Salinity: 1.026
Nitrate: < 2ppm
Phosphate: < .02ppm
Calcium: 420ppm
Alkalinity: 9.0 dKH
PAR: ~ 150-200 on sand bottom
I have both a goniopora and alveopora, both seem very healthy, along with several other LPS and SPS corals all showing good growth. How long did yours last before showing problems?

Lfs has tons of frags off the DT. I have a BB tank so I might i have to figure out a good spot to place it .Get a tank grown frag. They are so hardy now days. I have a couple gonis that do well. Put it in the sand. They seem to prefer some good movement/flow.
When I first started this hobby, wanting a goni, aka flower pot coral, made you a coral killing devil! They are so pretty though!
I’ll have to glue because of the crabs , the other day managed to kill a zoa fragJust put it on the floor. It'll be fine!
That what it did for me and then started to lose polypsI have one ive had for about a month its completely reclusive and never comes out.I just have it sitting on my frag rack rn.![]()
