Any general tips, guidance, differences, etc. for nano reefers moving up to larger systems? What is harder/easier about a larger tank? What experiences have you had in upgrading to a larger system? Differences in lighting/equipment or any other aspect you wish to discuss..

Not upgrading at the moment, but it's going to happen at some point. Figured this would make for a decent discussion...*

Let's say for example going from <20g to 75+ or even 180+*

Garrett, I have a 15g and am considering the same, perhaps moving to a 24x24x12 shallow frag tank. Spefically looking at LED's that I can use now and then.

Mix a lot of water at once, and keep it as close to the tank as possible (having to haul water up stairs or from far away will make water changes more of an inconvenience and people tend to do them less often as a result).

Also, if it's big, two part won't cut it for maintaining alk and cal.

I'm going to follow this one! I'm planning on doing the same thing.
