Tips on getting my neon Dottyback out my 15g.

No I'm not taking 26lb of live rock out. I have sps and zoas everywhere on my rock.

I'm new to the hobby. Trying to learn as much as I can. The guy that sold me the fish said it would be fine. But he has grown more aggressive each weak. I'm going to bring him anywhere someone will take him. I'm ticked about my pom pom crabs.

dotty back can be jerks. mine was. cut the top off a soda bottle and invert the top into the bottom half. throw some frozen mysis in there. leave it over night. celebrate catching the jerk.

He's small so I'm going to use a water bottle because my tank is only 15g and I have 26lbs of live rock. Thanks for the tips.

water bottle should work fine. i used my cleaning magnet to secure closer to the top of the tank.

Caught mine in less then 5 mins using the inverted bottle trap when he started killing fish after fish. With semi-agressive fish they are great but anything that is remotely the same shape was toast.

Yea. I've had the bottle in for 2 days. He's not having it. I'm going to skip the morning feed and force him to the top tomorrow evening. Going to net him tomorrow hopefully. He's harassing everything in the tank.
