I wish to redesign the rock-work and flow in my tank and was looking on tips to do this without my tank residents having to suffer. My biggest two concerns is the time that it would take to do this, and the increased flow and new (random) pattern leading to a jumper...As my username suggests, I have mostly delicate inverts

Thanks in advance, SCI

Hello,
I think everyone has been down this road if you have been in the hobby for a while... the best advice I can give is don't just re arrange to re arrange .. look at some pics or draw out what you want the rock scape to look like.. that will minimize time for having to make adjustments after you finish. good luck

Thanks for the advice both of you; however, my problem is the amount of time it would take as I want to completely redo it and do it right. Because of my urchins and turbo snails, I want/need to permanently affix it with rods and/or epoxy. Which could take hours. Or I could do it with completely new rock, but then my tank would recycle
