I will be cleaning house within the next couple weeks to make room for 30 SPS frags. I will be removing all LPS and Softies. I know, I know, wrong thread to be saying this in....

I have 2-3 mushrooms that I need to remove. I prefer not to kill them if possible. I have some Hemostats coming in from Amazon that I am going to use to try and peel them off. If that doesn't work then ultimately I am going to try the Kalk route to get rid of them.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Red square is where the couple of shrooms are

These shrooms are isolated on right side of the tank. They are the same mushrooms though.

Take the hemostats and forceps and get under the foot with the point. Work around the base, loosening them up. If you keep working at it gently, you should be able to get them off of the rocks with minimal damage.

I suggest a good pair of pliers and frag the rock under them :)
