I have been acquiring the parts for my CaRx over the past 6 months and finally caved on black friday and picked up a GEO CR612x2 Calcium Reactor. I followed another thread and have a DIY dual stage regulator. I also have a DIY tank monitor with PH probe so I will be able to monitor the PH of the 1st reactor chamber. I will be hooking up another PH probe to monitor my tank PH then I will eventually pick up a peristaltic pump but will need to just monitor my effluent rate for now to see how much is coming out.

What tips can you guys provide on tuning in a reactor?

Following. Have the same reactor. First time using one, so I'm definitely looking for a "how to" thread.

Similar setup here. I started slow. One bubble every 8 seconds or so at 15 psi on the dual stage reg, with a pretty fast effluent. Like 100 ml per min. Tested every morning. I've slowly just turned down the effluent to make it more concentrated. Took a few weeks before it was nailed down. I would make up some 2 part and use that daily to make up for lost ca and alk rather than adjusting the reactor to compensate. That would be too much yoyo
