Tissue receding on LPS

I have a bowerbanki, a favia (no pic) and an acan that have tissue receding. I’ve had this happen with a lobo and favites (war coral) as well. Blastos in the tank seem fine, as does an acro, some montis, a pipe organ, and clove polyps. but I seem to also slowly lose zoas. What should I be looking for?

What’s your water parameters?

with a car its gas or spark- with a tank its light or water. If the water is good, then look to the light. If higher light species are doing better, that may be a clue-but water first.

Ammonia = 0 (API)
Nitrite= 0 (API)
Nitrate = 10 ppm (API)
Alkalinity = 144 ppm/ 8.06 dKH (Hanna checker)
Calcium = 450 ppm (Red Sea Pro)
Magnesium = 1200 ppm (Red Sea Pro)
Phosphates = 0.04 ppm (Hanna checker)
Specific gravity = 1.025 (Hanna salinity tester)

pH = 7.7 @ 9:54 am (before tank lights on) w/ expired Salifert kit.

pH = 8.2 @ 5:46 pm (lights on since 10am) w/ new API kit

I didn’t trust the Salifert pH kit which had an expiration date in 2014 and was able to get the new API kit this evening.

The SPS are about 8” to 16” from the light source (IT2060 LED) while the LPS are 20” to 26” from the source with the acan and the bowerbanki are on the sand. The favia is mounted on rock. The blue channel runs at 60% most of the day with the white channel at 20%.

Tomini tang
Royal gramma
Red firefish
Pintail fairy wrasse
Ornate leopard wrasse
Flame angel (I’ve never seen him pick)

Inverts (other than corals):
Tiger tail sea cucumber
Pistol shrimp (I haven’t seen him in a while, but assume he’s still in his corner)
Bubble tip anemones (2)
A couple of red leg hermit crabs
Emerald crab (haven’t seen in a while)
Bristle worms (some are pretty big -found a 9” one a couple months ago)

In-tank circulation provided by Ice Cap 3K gyre and Jebao WP-25. Return pump is a Lifeguard Quiet One 4000. I have an AquaC EV-120 protein skimmer and a BRS dual media reactor with Marineland Black diamond carbon and Awesome Aquatics Phos-Xtract (looks lite white beads) which I just repacked last night.
