Titanium after years

If I put something that is titanium in my tank will it ever rust? I am talking submerged in saltwater for 5 years! No issues at all?

I know they say it does not rust but can it really go the distance (years being submerged in 35 ptt)?

i use heaters that are and they seem fine

No, it will not rust. Only iron rusts.

Other metals do corrode, but titanium is non reactive and should not ever corrode.

What are you wanting to use it for?

Some types of stainless steel are also fine.

My titanium heating rod is 5 years old and not a spot of rust or corrosion on it.
