We are talking heavy metal removal but your post implies it will remove other elements because it removes heavy metals. Hence the confusion.

No, but no big deal Cory. I just mean that if it removes metals from seawater that is changing the chemistry of seawater because seawater naturally contains metals.:)
 
Then it will change the chemistry of seawater as seawater contains all the elements on the periodic table
What are you getting at - this doesn't make sense. I'm pretty sure the original poster was talking about the 'chemistry' of seawater, it seems like you're talking about the 'composition' of seawater. But - since its really unclear what you meant- Im must curious?
