Wondering if anyone could advise on whether a regular old peristaltic dosing pump would supply enough pressure to the TLF KW reactor to keep the KW solution saturated throughout. It looks like it’s enough to make the nozzle spin, but not as vigorously as with a more powerful pump.

Thanks.

I don’t know but I have often wondered the same thing. If one can it would be an excellent way to run kalk.

If you want to run kalk that way get something else. The avast unit is fairly inexpensive. You could also find a Chinese one for cheap

So it looks like with accumulated solids at the bottom, the nozzle doesn’t spin. Either way, I expect the flow won’t be enough to keep the KW saturated without occasional manual stirring. Gonna keep playing with the configuration though.

Another idea is to use three pump heads simultaneously. Put each pump head behind its own check valve, and then feed them all into the reactor input. Program each head to pump 1/3 of the total dose at the same time. Bound to work, right? :p

Or get a different reactor. But this one was basically free, so gonna play a little

I’ll take a look in case this sordid affair doesn’t work out.
