Not sure if anybody else has had this issue but I noticed some discoloration on my seaweed feeding clip today and then it started to separate and I noticed it has almost entirely disintegrated inside! Considering the price of this clip I am really disappointed. I don't even leave this clip in the tank after feeding and always remove it when empty.

Yeah, I've heard of it happening to those. Then again I've heard of just about everything magnetic that goes in the tank corroding. I have two that are several years old (maybe an older design?) and stay in the tank 24/7 and haven't had an issue. If one does fail, I've more than gotten my monies worth out of them.

I'm using this fella and it works like a dream. The in-tank magnet is encapsulated within the magnetic body, preventing rust, and it keeps any uneaten nori from floating around and polluting the tank.
