if you are stuck in a bind you can also use caribsea carribean crushed corals or just crush corals from your lfs.

It’s been out of stock for several months and even companies like BRS cant get a straight answer as to whether it will ever be available again from Two little Fishies, so no one really knows. I wouldn’t hold my breath for it. When I run out of what I managed to snag I’ll be doing what Scuzy suggested and just using aragonite sand in my reactor.

Apparently this is still an issue. 10 hours ago, I received an email that it was back in stock but too late for me - it's all gone again. Wouldnt sand just cause clogging issues? What other alternatives are there?

ARM is fine - it is calcite and takes a bit more co2 to melt, but it works great once you retune it. Larger crushed coral is also good if you have a reactor that is reverse flow - this is what everybody used to use until 8-10 years ago.
