so iam fairly new on r2r but I thought this would be a good way to get involved a bit. So my nano is going to be made from extra stuff I have lying around at least that is the plan. The tank is going to be made from a old 10g it will use a small HOB filter for flow and some mechanical filtration, ill ne using rock rubble from my sump and sand will be dry black sand, lighting will ne a EVO par30 bulb (20k) and if needed I have a small meanwell led driver so I can add a few more if I need it. The par bulb is going to go into a pendant and hang from the ceiling. The tank will be mounted on the wall using L brackets I have already disassembled the 10g which was not easy I ended up braking on panel and taking a chunk out of the other. Bit I think I have enough usable glass to make it work. I have not decided on dimensions yet but that should be figured out by tomorrow. I bought a new par bulb and a box of random fish stuff from a local guy that was moving it contained silicon and the HOB filter and some moon lights. As for stocking I think Ima go hammers and frogspawn and a few zoas. Here are the pics of the tank broken apart.

Fishguy I have had my reef tank for about a year so far. And thank you every one I am going to go clean up and measure the glass so I can get it cut and siliconed tomorrow.

Glad to have you posting and glad to see another nano being born!

Yes I am excited to get this built I am going to have to cut up another 10g as I am short a bottom panel lol

For the no live stock picture does the tank need to be completed? I am close I just need to get some sand and hang the light. and finish painting.

^^ No it doesn't need to be complete.

Our stand is not finished yet, so our tank is empty at this point.

Good Luck with the contest! We're looking forward to following your progress!
