TMC ECO rock and skimmer gone nuts

Hey, bought some tmc eco reef rock today and was told, plus the tintaweb also says no need to cure just plug n play, ie put in tank and all good.
Thing is as soon as i did about 5mins later my skimmer went nuts and over flowing, i dropped its level to the min possible and throttled the air intake to also its min but to no effect and even now 6hrs later it still is over flowing with clear bubbles, no dirt with the bubbles either, filling cup in seconds...
Has anyone had the same exp and is this normal?

Yes
It is man made and some of the ingredients can cause what you are seeing. It will pass. Happens with reef puttys and epoxies too

Cheers for the heads up...will leave simmer off over night, see in the morning of sorted.
