I've just got a used v2 ozone and im not sure its working no smell coming from it on full power is there a way to test its working u read that randy used chlorine or something with test strips to test for ozone but I cant find it anywhere

Smelling it may not always be a good idea, at least not with larger generators (grin). Do you have good air flow through the unit? I'm not familiar with their method of ozone production, I've only used corona discharge and photozone units.

Ozone reacts with the normal DPD chlorine test, either test strips or the powder reagent. We use it to check for residual ozone oxidants in our main systems. However, you need to bubble the ozone through the water and then test. I normally just use this to test presence/absence, it is difficult to use it to really measure effective concentration or anything.

To be honest though - I just waft some output to my nose and sniff (only when nobody's looking though!).
