Hi,looking to upgrade my tank but I just wanna check the the weight,I live on the 8th floor which is reinforced concrete floor, would be great if there is a engineers who could figure out the load.or at least point me on the right track.this is gonna be my new tank
eaReefPro 1500
Tank Weight - 166kg
Cabinet Weight - 82kg
Estimated Water Weight - 500kg
Length-1500mm
Width-600mm
Highly-600mm
To be honest I’m not even sure what kinda load this type of floor should take?also seem to be a lot more at play like dead loads, loads by columns,or am I just proper over thinking this??any advice would be much appreciated thanks in advance

I'm certainly no engineer, but if it's a poured/reinforced floor I can't believe you'll have a problem. Other than carrying the tank up to the 8th floor

So, you are estimating a total of 748kg or 1,650 lbs.

In all honesty, if you're really worried about it and REALLY want to play it safe, you should higher a structural engineer to take a quick look a the floor and it's supports.

Someone on a forum will not be able to give you an absolute definitive, 'yes, it will be safe' because "reinforced concrete floor" is nowhere near enough info for an engineer to run estimates or provide feedback: How thick is the reinforced concrete floor? How what distance does it span? What kind of supports does it have? How far from a wall or a support will the tank be placed?

I'm not sure where you live, but my region of the U.S. it only costs about $600-$800 to have a structural engineer look at the floor in a house, it's method of construction, supports, etc. then run a quick calculation on the max weight it can safely support.

That said, typically a 536 L or 140g aquarium should be quite safe on a reinforced concrete floor. Even more so if it is near a wall or floor support.
