Do fish get stunted to the size of Their tanks Or do they all grow Maximum size would like to know your views

Fish will continue to grow. I've seen nearly 40 inch bamboo sharks in someone's 55. Thankfully they gave the shark away.

I have herd both but I think they can get stunted if put in a small tank. I have never had an experience with this however becauae I dont want to take my chances lol. The famous fish for this is a panther grouper which comes to the LFS cute and only 2 inches and before you know it, the fish is massive. Maybe it depends on the fish I guess
 
Fish never stop growing, one of the few creatures in the world with no true maximum size...the longer they live the bigger they will get. The amount they grow is proportional to the amount of food they get...if you feed them a lot then they will grow more.

I don't believe that salt water fish get stunted. On the other hand fresh water fish will.
 
I think I agree with you I had goldfish many years ago they lived up to 14 years old in a 5 gallon tank They stayed only 3 to 4 inches So I would assume must be a difference between fresh and salt water fish
