To be aptasia or not aptasia??

Just noticed this popping up in my tank. Does it look loke aptasia to anyone?

yes, it is aiptasia. There are many ways to get rid of it. Perhaps one of the easiest is with a "zapper."
 
It's called the wand, it basically shoots electricity into and burns it or almost like melts it. If this is a bad description someone please chime in.
 
You can try peppermint shrimp need a few though and they don't always work. Butterfly tangs could also work but also tricky. There's a type of filefish that works too so I've been told but it also has a tendency to eat your corals as well
 
I always squirt them with boiling RODI a cpl times and then just suck them out. If that doesn't work I make them recede and then just super glue over them.
 
1+ on the superglue, thanks GenSkiR6 this worked for me as well.

Berghia nudibranches are also effective in aiptasia control. The downside to them is that they only eat aiptasia. I would only use them if the tank was severely infested.
