Ok, so yesterday, I went to a frag swap, and tot this cool little rock with a bunch of stuff on it. Like a bunch of really cool things, like this blue and red mushroom, but I cant really tell very well. Well anyways, I got this sucker for $5!!! The problem is, that it is covered in green hair algae. They told me , a peroxide dip, twice will get rid of it, but I'm looking for y'alls opinion. It's also got bristleworms, and I like my tank being without them. I see a bunch of dead ones after the first dip. Anyways, I'm looking for y'alls opinion on what my next step should be. Should I do another dip? That's what I'm planning on. Thanks a ton.

Dip it in a good coral dip too, and qt it before putting in your main display if you can.
GHA would be the least of my concerns to other coral pest.

@saltyfilmfolks
What else would you do?

I dont have any other corals, just getting into them now. My worry is gha tanking over the tank

Dip again and QT. Do not feed and hopefully the worms will go away. Look for them at night with a flashlight.

GHA would thrive if you have high phosphates. If not, the GHA will run out of fuel and die off.
Toothbrush might help to get it off the piece, but you need to use coral dip too.
