To catch a dottyback

So I got the fish trap and I tried to get the dotty back to swim in it but guess what everyone but him does I honestly give up I hate this fish sooo much

I would say don’t give up hope but I had to remove everything and he still stayed in the rock until he almost died.

This might seem like a totally weird solution, but the only way I caught my monster six-line wrasse was to use a mirrored tile at the end of the trap. I've caught other fish before by just making them a little hungry and adding some fish food to the trap, but the six-line wouldn't go near it. I found mirrored tiles on Amazon and ordered some small ones. I taped one on the inside at the end of the trap and after several days, the wrasse couldn't stand it and went for the mirrored tile. Trap sprung. Fish caught. Good luck!

yellow and purple I got to trade him into the lfs because I tried to add others like dartfish and he chased them to death

Good luck catching him, try skipping a feeding or two and then bait the box

They are always mean
