I was going to Harlequin route but can’t do the amputating at Choc starfish for their food. I ended up getting two Bumble Bee shrimp and hope to control Asterina population.

@Mjrenz
Do you not worry that someone from the polite society will read this post and try to have you locked up; "before you start torturing puppies"? :)

BTW, If you ever need, I can provide you with personal referrals for legal counsel who (have assisted me once or twice, and) will accept frags for partial fee payments.
Lol that’s awesome.

What else will these guys eat? I thought that the Harlequins were the only ones to eat the stars?

EDIT: So apparently these are still a type of harlequin but they're just more apt to eat other meaty frozen foods. At least accoring to live aquaria lol

Got my harlequin a couple weeks ago, I no longer see any asternias in my tank, and my harlequin has gone missing for a couple days. I will be on my way to the LFS in another day or so to get a chocolate chip star. Hopefully my harlequin is still alive.

I've had explosions in their population in the past and I would do a water change when the glass was covered with them. Just use my siphon against the glass and away they go!
