To dip or not to dip?

Quick update - coral ex doesn't kill certain things. I have read it doesnt kill red bugs or aenb eggs. Haven't had either so I don't know first hand. I guess Bayer and Interceptor help take care of what I mentioned, haha, forget which is for which though. Sorry about that.

I believe both can be used to treat red bugs, I have used Bayer with good results. I have read that it will not kill eggs however.

Hello all I am a newbie here, I have only had my tank up and running 4 months now,30 gallon with jaboa wave maker and hob filter, just introduced tank bred clowns male and female and 2 blue green chromis. about 30# live sand and 60#s live rock, went to the lfs the other day and picked up an already established piece of live rock and now I have eunicids and recently witnessed one of them kill my male clown. I was wondering if I dip my live rock if it would kill my coraline algae or if it would even kill these worms before they get out of control? I appreciate any insight on this problem. Thank you

OK. I'm asking the same question... I had a bad parasite destroy my last aquarium. I only had a shrimp and a Mandarin left "standing." It was a fast swimming little grey thing that bit my fish with a proboscis. They had bites all over them and then they would die. It was awful, just awful. I called it quits for 13 years but I'm back again and terrified of live rock.

I just bought a new 120g, sump, etc, the whole shebang... All brand new.
Dont know what to do about live rock. Should I dip? Or is live rock too risky??? It scares me to death honestly.

Redsea DipX claims to be safe for live rock.
