To frag or not to frag

I’m worry that the polyps on the bottom side of this huge blue turbinaria coral is going to die if I don’t move it at an angle somehow or frag off the bottom piece.

Do colonies like these share their resources with every polyps ? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If that was my coral I would just leave it as it is. It seems to be growing well. I would try to put the coral on a rock or something so that it can encrust over it and spread out. Whatever you do it looks great!
