I have 14 corals for a 40g display aio tank. 6 chalices (probly overkill) one acro one birds nest a hammer a torch and a bubblegum digi a lepto a richidiah and a scoly. I am wondering if I went with to much either way perfered method to place corals. Do I take rock out to drill hole for frag plugs or nip the nub and glue or epoxy looking for suggestions all on frag rack just looking for guidance.

Taking all the rock out and drilling would be lots of work!! If it were me I would remove what I could from the frags and glue/epoxy in place and the ones that I couldn't get removed from drags I would just glue the frag somwhere. You could leave the plugs on all of them and eventually they would be covered in coraline or coral.

I guess I could nip the long part so it is a flat disk than glue. I might make some islands for some. I have some reef glue from brs I have not tried gluing yet in tank. would epoxy be better or does it matter

I drill holes for mine... In fact I simply made a natural frag rack in my tank 2 days ago with a piece of Shelf rock and drilling holes... I kinda had to get ready for all the new frags as I kinda went nuts on the Cherry Corals Sale.. Yikes.

Cutting the stem off the plug is what I do and then use gel superglue to mount. The brs glue is probably the same thing. When you put the glue on dunk it in a container of tank water and then wait 30 seconds for it to start setting after that put it in place and hold until it will hold itself in place.
