There is algae growing everywhere in my tank and it is growing so fast that my snails can't keep up with it i have a 13 gallon tank does anyone know what the best thing to do to get rid of this is?

check out this thread. High success rate with small tanks.

hey I agree and its solely based on gallonage, 13 galllons is the most accessible reef one could own.

isn't that so 2020 we diagnose invasion issues off the gallon/access, no need for params lol or pics or even an ID> if you can access it, we can kill it :)

during those takedown procedures we show, when the rock is out of the tank, then you can use any number of means to actually kill algae off rocks before setting it all back up via skip cycle. you can remove all invasions from a sandbed by doing the work shown above, that fixes cyano and even dinos in smaller nanos due to raw access strength.

a handy thing about rip cleaning is even a tank not in distress can run them, that's the opening thread. Jons 120 gallon rip clean was in a perfectly performing tank, and he's done two full ones now so he can measure bacterial counts + gain icp testing off the end work.

any tank can be rip cleaned, it adds life to a tank by removing organic waste reserves. the side benefit of doing that is killing algae without a months long param alteration/bleaching event
pls take pics we need to collect more work examples
