It removes unwanted elements in the aquarium, it does not remove essential elements that our tank/coral uses. Google it, do some reading as I did as I once thought it removed good trace elements.

Carbon isn't discriminate. It will remove what ever will fit in its pore size.

Different types of carbon have different pore sizes.

Umm, this is one person's personal view. Not a peer reviewed study or paper about the use of activated carbon in seawater.

This proves nothing to me.
