To Much flow?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 46 gallon bow front. I have two hydro Wave makers that do 1500 GPH with the aquaclear 110 filter. Is that to much flow within my tank? Should I take one of the powerheads out and use it as a backup? Or should I keep both of the wave makers in? Thoughts and suggestions? I do not have a protein skimmer

It’s not too much flow but if you have them both on constantly that isn’t good quality flow. Do you have the controller that makes them alternate pulsing? You want random variable flow.

No I do not, where can I get a control like that? That is something I definitely would like.
