Ok so I always come up with crazy ideas. Here is my latest. Tell me what you think.

I want to setup a bigger frag tank but I am broke. My 10 gallon is full. SO what I want to do is get one of the rubbermaid underbed containers. It is about 43" long, 19" wide and 6" deep. I am going to put a sump made out of a larger clear rubbermaids. I know people say they bend with to much water. So I am gonna build a little frame around it. Inside the sump will just be a filter sock, cheato, and return pump (probably a Mag3). No fish at all in the system

Now for light I was going to use a VHO ballest I have, like I said I am broke.

I looked on Marine Depot and the 48" VHO bulbs are 110 watts each. My ballest is for two and will hold up to 220 watts so the ballest will work.

Now is this way to much light for a tank that is only 6" deep?
How high would I have to put the lbulbs above the tank to not cook anything?

Thanks for the Help.
If the lights will work I am gonna hopefully start on this next week.
If they wont work then it will be a while till I can build it.
