To nem or not to nem?

I have a 110g with LPS, euphylia and zoas. I have been toying with the idea of adding a bubble tip but I don't really know anything about them. I have a pair of tank raised clowns and I don't really care if they host or not. My main question is, how dangerous are they for corals and the other fish? I know they are likely to wander until they find a spot they like. Will they catch/kill my small fish?

I don't think u have to worry about your fish and ime bta s don't bother ZOA's and palys at all ....can't speak for lps or sps though.

I just added a bta, so far so good. I placed it in a container with a few smaller 3-5” rocks with crevices the first night. The next morning it had picked a rock and was firmly attached. I started out on the sandbed but noticed it lost some of its size. So I moved it up higher and into a spot with just enough flow. I can move this smaller rock pretty much anywhere. I know there is no guarantee it stays on this rock or that it won’t split. I do think this was a better strategy than just placing it in a crevice of the rockscape.

So far it’s looking happy and eating fine. I won’t lie though, it does scare me thinking what could happen if it went Godzilla in the tank.

they will not catch fish like carpet anemones will, and are not super dangerous. if an already sick / weak fish swims straight into one, then possibly. IME bubble tips are pretty easy to take care of. I got mine when my tank was 2 months old and now I have like 17 on one rock. they could possibly move often, which is why I isolated all of mine. they were stinging too many corals. anemones beat coral in a chemical fight

That's what I figured. I don't really have a good place to isolate them because all my rocks touch in one way or another. I don't want them moving all over stinging stuff. Probably just gonna go with some rock flower nems instead.
