To RODI or Not to RODI

It probably has to do with the municipality that provides your water. I am an old salt and have never used anything but tap water. I've never had algae problems so have never seen a reason to use RO/DI. I intentionally do small frequent WCs however in case there is a lapse in their normal quality. I have LPS, some softies and a crocea clam. It works for me.
