To run or not to run chemipure?

So I bought a container of chemipure blue and I am about to run it. I am hearing not so good things that it can be toxic? and unsafe? I bought a new airstone for my protein skimmer so if I don't run chemipure it won't be that bad. Thanks

I used to use it a lot but have switched to another brand of carbon. No real reason, just wanted to try another brand for a few. I've never heard that Chemipure is toxic. I used it on my first tank over 10 years ago. If it were toxic I don't think they would still be in business.

Ive used chemipure for 20 plus years. No problem. Started using the Elite a few years back. Havent tried the blue. But I havent heard of any toxic problems either...

No bad experience with it. I use chemipure elite and keeps my water clean
