Please share what you feed your large angels for long term success. I've heard they need sponge in there diet.

Hey Joe!
Depends on what angels. And you are right most but not all of them do.
An adult Koran feeds on cyno and a lot of garbage most of the day while my French and annularis got by just fine on frozen angel formula by ocean nutrition. It is supposed to contain sponge. Formulas 1 and 2 were great also.
Mine were quite large and would eat a variety of vegetables also.
I just tried to not give them brine or anything too fatty to protect their liver and give them a better chance at longevity.
I don't know if you have some or want to get some so I don't know if that helps you at all but there are some I would definitely stay away from unless you are extremely motivated and have a super mature system and a very large tank.
Joel

My emperor angel started with nori and live mussels broken in half. After that moatly nori and pellets.

JCT,very helpful video. I didnt know hammers and such were an option.

Joel, I hadn't considered fatty liver disease-good point. I have a well established big tank and got two juvi Annularis Friday. (I got a small copperband butterfly, a leapord wrasse and jawfish at the same time-no other fish in the tank) They finally ate yesterday, I offered live white worms, small earthworms, my frozen slurry, whole mussels, yesterday a whole clam was mostly gone, what a relief! I looked at the frozen food but the shipping costs are a deal killer.

Corey, I'll try nori on a clip.

Are there any dry foods that are an especially good suppliment for my bluerings?

My hope is that neither bluering has transitioned to a male and they become a bonded pair. There is some nipping and chasing going on, no damage done and doesn't look like it's headede for battle. Hopefully just sorting things out. The only other big fish I want are a red Coris wrasse and a rabbit fish and maybe a tang.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the input.
