so in the past I have treated prazi pro in my tank, with no issues. I just picked up a marbled wrasse and a Midas Blenny. No I did not QT. I am wondering if I should treat prazi as a just in case. Mainly for wrasse. I have been buying from this lfs for 4 years never had a fish sick from him. But I have a malanarus and a leapored wrasse. Just want to do the best I can with out QT. thanks

IMO no qt you're playing with fire. I like prazi even in a DT.

I will continue battle. But fish are in display and eating. I will probably treat prazi

for what it's worth, I agree with the others on all points. I like prazi in the DT - haven't had much of an issue with it before. Some fading of my montis but they bounced back after. I've done it in a couple tanks at the store with no issues as well

Just my 2 cents: Dosing Prazipro in your DT should not be done haphazardly. You do it too many times, and sooner or later it's gonna come back to bite you.

Ok thank you. I suppose these two fish wil be my last until I can get a QT set up. Can only play Russian Rulett so many times.

I know. But the significant other just dose not go for it. Her solution is not to buy anymore fish
After you kill hundreds or in my case several thousand dollars of fish this way, she will either learn the lesson or you will be forced to leave the hobby. I have lost fish three catastrophic times before my hard head figured it out.

I spent 20-25 years trying various ich management techniques: garlic, herbal remedies, ozone, UV sterilizer, etc. with varying degrees of success. My older fish didn't fare as well; I would lose 10-15 yr old angels & tangs to ich outbreaks. The last straw was losing both my Pinnatus and Teira Batfish to ich.

It was also quite embarrassing and really humbled me. Here I was, this supposed marine fish expert, and I couldn't prevent my fish from succumbing to ich. :( So I got really mad at myself, and vowed to turn my biggest weakness into my greatest strength. :)

Now that's a method I have not tried.
Good luck! Only things I pointed out were it's small and temporary. She's even moved her computer so she can watch it. Didn't have say anything else. Scented candles are my battle lol she likes to light them in the kitchen 10ft from where mine is located.
