To trim or not to trim?

Hi reefers, I was hoping some experts could help me out here:

I’m uncertain if I should cut some of the skeleton down my candy canes and frammers? I do see some small growth on the frammer stalk.

Or just let them be? TIA!!

I don't see a reason to. All you would do is just stress the coral and risk infection

Yeah I wouldn’t mess with them. Trumpets probably wouldn’t be an issue but with the frammer it’s hard to tell how deep the flesh goes down and if you cut it you risk infections

Sounds good. I’ll leave them be. Plus the skelly gives them some body
