I am setting up a 40gl breeder as a display Refugium. I plan on havening few fish that I cannot keep in my reef tank it is 120gl. I am trying to decide on sand or a larger grain size. I plan on using the SB Reef Light sBox Pro Timer 16" Fresh Water Plant Light maybe the 32", I want to grow deferent types of macro algae I guess you could say a saltwater plane tank, can I get some feed back on sand or larger grain size. I do not want a 6" bed.

I go with finer in a fuge little bugs seem to make a quick home in it and good for the nitrogen cycle, not a fan of it in dt tho.
