Toad stool not happy

I bought my toad stool about 12 days ago it was open and happy for a about a day out two then completely closed and has been ever since. I don’t k ow what’s wrong my parameters are perfect I’ve moved him closer to flow, farther from flow, closer to light, farther from light he’s still not opening up. And as I am very impatient I want him to be beautiful what’s wrong with him

last one was the first day.

It's normal for softies to close up while they acclimate to a new tank. He may also "shed" where a layer of skin sloughs off. Yours looks perfectly fine. If it was damaged it would shrivel up not just close. Give it medium light and flow and it will open in a week looking better than ever.

Mine was closed for 3 weeks when I first got it, it's my understanding they are very dramatic...

When i upgraded my tank in january my 10yr old toadstool closed up completly for 3 months

and now is like nothing happened

Yes, the one I got most recently took around three weeks to fully open. And now it’ll look great for a week, and then slough off some skin for a week, and back and forth. So long as its not disintegrating or there aren’t any holes forming in it, its fine.

They are very dramatic! If you touch them ( moving it or something near it) they'll pout for a couple of days

I just moved one of mine into my new 130 and it's mad
