Likely due to a lack of or change in water flow and try elevating it a little and blow water with turkey baster at brown areas to loosen the substance and assure no film is developing on its cap. Doesnt appear to be anything associated with molting.I’ve had this toadstool for over 2 years in this tank and recently I noticed some of my zoas with long stringy algae looking stuff on them but it’s not excessive. Now I noticed my toadstool with this stuff. Is this brown jelly and what should I do?
