Good afternoon reefers, I picked up a new toadstool 10 days ago. Day 5 is the first picture, today is 2nd picture. Closed up and extending some weird unicorn horn in the center. Is it just being a weirdo or should I be concerned? It's getting decent flow

Maybe is disturbed by a fish or levels are off? pests?

What are the parameters of your tank? I just had my toadstool close up for about 3 days and finally started to open back up yesterday. Mine was because it was shedding

Only level out of whack is phosphate at .2 but my birdsnest, lepto, gsp, anemone are all happy. Purple tang might've brushed him with his tail a few days ago but would it really stay closed over that for a week? No visible pests

PH 8.2, phosphate .2, nitrate 0, Nitrite 0, ammonia 0

Phosphate could be a little lower and nitrate could be a little higher, but I don't think those would cause the toadstool to close up like that. It might have been disturbed by a fish? do you have photos of the coral under white light?

Any idea what the unicorn horn is?

I looks like its getting ready to shed. The protruding is where the polyp comes out. Looks like you may have a weeping willow or a verity of one.
