Hi all

I just purchased a toadstool coral for my tank and my parameters are good. The toadstool stalk looks like it is deteriorating. Is it possible for me to cut the stalk where it is in bad shape and plant to toadstool somewhere to heal?

I have some other toadstools and they are doing fine.

Here is a photo of it before:

I would not cut the stalk, when fragging toadstool you are only supposed to cut through the top part. I would suggest you do the same and then grow out the frags.
If you parameters are good, how much flow are you giving it?

Thanks.

That's what I was thinking as well if I frag it out i may have better results in saving it. It is getting moderate flow may try to raise it higher in my tank but I have 2 other toadstools in the same area and they are doing fine.
