Toadstool dying

I recently added a tiny bit of gfo, half the recommendations. And I’m not sure why but my toadstool is fallen over polyps not open, is it dying

Mine did that for a month straight. There was a point where it didn’t open for acople of months. My wife would tell me to get rid of him everyday. I didn’t want to give up on him. I ven dosed some no pox and he closed up right after. But opened up the next day.
