So I bought a mtn dew toadstool frag about two months ago, growing beautifully, always open. I guess I made the mistake of only using epoxy to put the frag in the rock and not reef glue( I have bought some since) however I’m assuming either current or clean up crew knocked it out and was on the bottom substrate upside down for probably at least 12 hours. It’s been almost 24 hours since I have glued it in the same area it once was and has not opened once. Is it just extremely ticked off or is it possible those 12 hours or so killed it?

It'll open.. it's being defensive.. i've had that happen many times :)

I have a toadstool too I’ve thought same thing. If u accidentally touch the head or top of it moving it or it falls onto sand bed face down it’ll stay closed up for days or at least mine has. They also shed (Is what I call it anyway from time to time) like a white film of sorts best way I can describe it is what it looks like.
