So I have a neon green toadstool. I know they will drop babies to propagate, but mine doesn't quite look like that. I have sold off a few frags of it lately but it keeps shedding more pieces. Is this normal or is something wrong with this thing? Thank you

If shes still dropping off babies your good to go. As long as they are not dissolving away theres no problem.

Nothings dissolving. Shes just been dropping babies like crazy lately. If it continues at this rate there might not be much of a mama left.

But you'll have a tanki full of Toadstools at that point.

Do the polyps stay open on yours or is it closed up a lot?

I don't think it's normal for a toadstool to just fall into pieces but I've seen cases of it happening before.

I had a finger leather that did that but it was in an unhealthy tank at the time.

The polyps on the toadstool are always out. They just closed up in the picture because I made them. The water parameters are good, I have tons of SPS and they are all doing great.
