What are your parameters? Do you have other livestock/coral in the tank? How long has it been in the tank?Toadstools are one of the most hardy corals so it's pretty rare to see this.

It’s been in the tank for a month i think. Its been through a lot since it’s kind of a “test” coral for my frag tank. There’s also no other livestock.

Very hard to imagine it's bleaching. You would have to really nuke it with light - I grow sarcophytons beside my acropora. Did you suddenly change your lighting to blast more white LED light?

Either way, I wouldn't worry unless it's very soft and loose feeling.

I don’t know the nitrates but it’s most likely low. Im reaching out to hanna because my reagents arent working

I just averaged the sps and lps setting recommendations from bulk reef supply. What do you recommend I change it to?
I would think maybe 50%, but again, I don't have that channel.
What light incase someone with that light comes along and can guide you.

Also, they are more deep water compared to sps, lps. So less uv anyway.

I do see the water surface is very flat, corals will die in non-moving water, so ensure there is some flow. Lack of oxygen might also be a factor.

You haven't listed your parameters, so if this is the only living thing the tank, I suppose the tank is very clean, maybe too clean for this coral.

My parameters are in the photo attached to this. I believe I do have enough flow although it is kind of hard to see in the photo. Nitrates are probably low, but I doubt that would cause it to suddenly start bleaching today. I think I forgot to mention i just moved it from a lower position in the tank to that rack.

Moving it up makes more sense to me because now it's blasted with more uv.

Strickly my opinion.(why it's going down hill)

Leathers can shed, also my leather corals (tuck in for the night) also I would place irritated corals away from others any type coral lastly if I was worried about bleaching i would place coral in the lowest part of tank maybe even a corner of it was me.....
