have a Toadstool Leather Coral with zoas attached to base . how do i get them off. can i just pick them off with tweezers under water..

Usually when zoanthids start climbing up a leather coral stalk, many times they will just peel off because the tissue of the leather coral is soft and you can get under the edge of the zoanthid.
I've done this with several different types of zoanthids and other encrusting type soft coral like green star polyps and mushrooms.
