Hey reefers it looks like my leather is peeling off the stump advice please

It looks like the top is just peeling off

That is strange. It looks healthy otherwise. That’s not usually how they frag themselves.

I’ve had this leather for years and never seen this happen

If anything it looks like it's folded over itself to me, not actually seperrated from the stalk. I guess another possibility is some detritus collected in a crease and it caused some tissue dieoff so there's a slit formed seperrating part of the "disc" from teh rest of the colony.

Is it still attached to the frag plug it came on? If so, any ideas on why it hasn't grown?
