Hello all looking for some advice

I want to get a toadstool leather for my 150 gal mix reef tank.

I hear that it can release a toxin, can that kill fish or only other coral?

And 2nd if I put it next to a large GSP colony would it release the toxin and kill my tank or only kill off the GSP its near?

Don’t worry about toxins. Rarely do they release such toxins such as terpenoids. These compounds will stunt the growth of near by corals and adversely affect other more sensitive corals. Running high grade carbon such as chemipure blue will alleviate any toxin effects should it occur.
I have in one tank and no issues

Absolutely no issues, I’ve got two in separate tanks (one is a baby of the other). Great coral, beautiful colors, super simple to keep happy

I've had one for over a year, they are very hardy coral and I've never had problems with them with messing with other corals. I have a gsp by mine.
