Toadstool leather

Any chance this toadstool leather’s tentacles will grow long like the other pictured one?

I am hoping it will and they all start like this but doubt I am that lucky.

It can fill out but note the one below is a much smaller disk so 1 inch tentacles appear to be much longer than they actually are.
