Well i was wondering if my tank would be safe when i cut my toadstool in the tank. Its 1' across easy. So this clipping will be unintentially big. I plan on changing the carbon the same day and pre cut. I will probably end up with a teacup saucer size cut from one side/ lobe. Thoughts?
toadstool needs cut and it cant be removed is my tank safe?

Slow and steady wins the race!
Can be done but will probably stress your tank out.. I would recommend changing carbon every couple days and make sure your skimmer is functioning properly during the healing. doing frequent water changes probably also not a bad idea.
