Toadstool Problem

Hey everyone,

I have a toadstool coral that I have noticed is shedding?? I’m not sure if that’s what it’s doing. I have noticed white splits on the pedals. Anyone have any clue on what could be happening? Thanks in advance.

It might be shedding (changing out it's mucus coating) but it's hard to say from the pics. Many corals will break off pieces if they are feeling crowded. And what constitutes crowding is up to the individual coral to decide. :/
